Our scholarly platform provides the foundation for our broader social engagement with cultural leaders in every sphere. Using the intellectual capital developed by our scholarly work, we reach out to those not only studying, but actually working in these fields. Through sharing the impact of the image of God on these spheres, we seek to reshape our culture. We want to create a network of cultural leaders who are committed to the image of God in theory and practice, and who can exemplify the application of this idea in everyday life.
To this end, we hold seminars, publish whitepapers, and encourage discussion surrounding the imago Dei and its application to culture. Academic research provides a sound foundation for discussions around the common good. Direct engagement with cultural leaders is essential to the practical development of sound cultural institutions. By providing both, the Institute for Human Flourishing seeks to fulfill its mission.
